What honest practice looks like here, what counts as cheating, and what happens if you do it.
Our philosophy
Wordrig exists to help you genuinely improve your English for the exam. Academic dishonesty undermines that goal and your own learning, so we take it seriously.
Allowed
- Allowed: Using AI feedback to understand and improve
- Allowed: Retaking practice tests as many times as you like
- Allowed: Discussing strategy with peers
- Allowed: Using dictionaries during untimed practice
- Allowed: Reviewing model answers after you have submitted
Not allowed
- Not allowed: Sharing account credentials with anyone
- Not allowed: Using external AI tools during timed assessments
- Not allowed: Having someone else complete your assessments
- Not allowed: Copying from external sources without attribution
- Not allowed: Exploiting system bugs or vulnerabilities
- Not allowed: Circumventing proctoring or timing systems
Consequences
A breach of academic integrity may result in any of the following.
- A warning, and invalidation of the affected scores
- Account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Loss of band guarantee eligibility
- No refund on a terminated account
Detection
We detect dishonesty through behavioural analysis, plagiarism detection and pattern recognition. Flagged sessions may be reviewed by a human moderator.
